The Fannin County Summer Meals Committee
Faith Presbyterian Church, Fannin County Family Connection, Feed Fannin, Snack in a Backpack, and St. Luke’s Anglican Episcopal Church joined together to plan, purchase, pack and deliver free weekly meals for 455 children and 175 families this summer.
OVER 45,000 MEALS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN JUST 8 WEEKS!
We would sincerely like to thank all our donors for making this year’s program possible. Many local churches, community organizations and hundreds of caring citizens came together to provide children in Fannin County with nutritious meals over the summer school break. Summer food assistance for those in need helps our children return to school ready to learn.
Special thanks to Feed Fannin for providing fresh produce all summer long, Faith Presbyterian Church for coordinating the delivery of hundreds of meal bags each week, and the Snack in a Backpack Board of Directors and volunteers for planning, packing, coordinating, housing and overseeing the community-wide 2024 Summer Meals Program.

Thank you to Grumpy Old Men Brewing for hosting our fundraising launch event, to all the individual volunteers who showed up week after week, as well as the incredible volunteer teams from Kiwanis Club of Blue Ridge, North Georgia Mission Lodge, Gospel Light Baptist Church, and more. We would also like to give a special shout out to Tri-State EMC Foundation and the Operation Round-up Board of Directors for their rapid response that completed our fundraising efforts to cover summer food costs.
