2026 Summer Meals Program
Serving Fannin & Polk Counties
The 2026 Summer Meals Program deliveries will run from June 4 through July 23, providing weekly groceries for approximately 480 children and 240 families. Each delivery includes kid-friendly meals and snacks as well as shelf-stable meals for four, plus fresh produce.

Since 2009, Snack in a Backpack has been helping Fannin children get nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need for weekends, school breaks, and summer vacation breaks. Snack in a Backpack works in affiliation with the Chattanooga Food Bank.
