We want to send a big shout out to American Home Place in Blairsville for their continued support of Snack in a Backpack. They have supported our organization over the years through our fundraising events and volunteering opportunities. They were on-site in March to present us with a check and to help us pack 400 meal bags. Thank you for all you do to help feed the children of Fannin County.

Imagine for a moment to be one of the children who qualifies for free breakfast and lunch at school and you bring home “Snack in a Backpack” meals for the weekend. For you, it has been a tough year. Your school closed, your parents couldn’t work and you were worried and didn’t know if your folks could make ends meet and keep food in the house.
Friends, while you and I can’t solve all the problems these children have, we can make sure they have nutritious food for the weekend. We can fight childhood hunger in Fannin County. Snack in a Backpack hopes to raise $20,000 this fall, which will supply 400 children with 4 months of weekend meals.
We offer several levels of support found on the attached link, but no matter what you can give, please know that your contribution is appreciated. Snack in a Backpack pledges to use your gift to serve the children of Fannin County.
