A large percentage of the children in Fannin County are eligible for free and reduced-cost meals during the school year which are not available during summer break. Faith Presbyterian Church, Fannin County Family Connection, Snack in a Backpack, and St. Luke’s Anglican Episcopal Church have joined together to offer a free Summer Meal Program for Fannin children in need ages 17 and under. Due to inflation, the increase in food costs and shortages at the Food Banks all donations are very welcome and are needed to provide meals fresh produce for the families with children.
The 2023 Summer Meal Program will run from June 1st to July 20th.
Distribution Logistics
The Summer Meal Program will deliver on Thursdays from 11:00 – 12:00 rain or shine at the following locations.

· Jones Street Apartments & Park
· Brookstone Apartments

. Mineral Springs Apartments
